I never would have thought this would ever happen. I, Elizabeth Bennet, am to marry Darcy. I despised his pride and never wished to speak to him. I guess we overcame our faults and saw the positive things in each other. His first proposal was a shock to me. However, the second was an even greater surprize.
After complaining about Darcy to my family all the time, convincing my father I really was in love with Darcy was difficult. He couldn't believe I loved him, but he was grateful for the marriage. It would at least calm my crazy mother down. We shall soon be married and it will be for true love, just like I wanted it. I didn't do it for money, it was just one blessing that came along with Darcy.
